The “Snow Plow Shimmy” is a specific move that fakes the “Snow Plow Open Hip,” and allows you to continue on in the direction you were already skating. Mastering both the “Snow Plow Open Hip” and the “Snow Plow Shimmy” has elite applications since you have the option to go either way, and they are both quick and subtle moves. A specific strength of the “Snow Plow Shimmy” is that you have the ability to change directions laterally and push backwards away from the defender.
