The “Trampoline Jump” builds off the “Puddle Jump,” as it adds the third push and works on building technique and power for accelerating out of a stop. The third push builds on the first two pushes, which are covered in the “Puddle Jump” tutorial. An important aspect you should focus on with this concept is the “spring” of the third push, as your cross under leg will need to land on the ball of your foot to achieve maximum explosiveness and quickness. Lastly, while you want to be quick with your feet, you must also be sure to focus on the depth of the steps and reach. The reason we do this exercise with a jump is because the depth and power generated can be measured and quantified.
