The “Two-Touch Pass” is an important skill at high levels of hockey because it allows you to make a quick and efficient pass after receiving a poor pass. This pass is also very deceptive since it is often used when a pass comes to your backhand or in your skates and you are able to release it quickly in a situation where it looks like you have lost control. The “Two-Touch Pass” is also commonly used if a pass is hot and bounces off your stick or if you tap the puck to stop it in place before adjusting your body to pass or shoot. Due to the diverse situations in which this pass can be used, it is important to make sure you practice the it often.
